AP07 is POS terminal hardware for staffed checkout. Where the project needs customer facing information, choose the display format from the required content. A simple price display and a full customer screen have different connection and software requirements.

Choose the customer information format

Tell us whether the customer should see only the total, a list of purchased items or promotional content. Confirm the display device and its supported output method with your POS software provider. Confirm the exact customer display and whether it is included in the order. Check the viewing position and how the display behaves when the terminal starts or loses its connection.

Resolve the system choice before testing

Select the operating system and computer platform together, then run the customer display, printer and scanner on that configuration. Confirm that the application and peripherals support the chosen platform before approving the system image. Keep the accepted sample record for display output, driver versions and device connections.

Software and integration responsibilities

POS software licensing, store data and payment processing are separate from the terminal hardware. Confirm who prepares the system image, installs drivers and connects each peripheral. Software compatibility should be accepted against the actual sample configuration, not an unrestricted compatibility claim.
